What a wild ride of a storyline! Cami and Eli grew up together, but essentially on other ends of the track. Cami is a socialite while Eli is the son of her family’s housekeeper. Always annoyed by each other but secretly crushing as kids, they end up quarantined together through the divine thinking of Cami’s brother, who is also Eli’s best friend at their family’s cabin. At first they are super unhappy that they are having to quarantine together, but as they spend time together, the truth about the past and their feelings come through. Once they decide to start a relationship is when the wild ride of this storyline comes through as they navigate quarantine and the extreme restrictions set in place. I was absolutely not expecting where the story went and the twists and turns but it kept me highly entertained, especially during this time where the plot of the book is more relevant than others. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, and gave us enough about the next book to entice me and hook me so that I can’t wait to read! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A series that was unplanned but sprung from the recent events in the world and the authors need to to process these events creatively. This story of two people who were once friends, pushed apart by the expectations of society and being young and not knowing any better, finally, they are in the same place at the same time with enough time to work through their issues and get to the heart of their feelings. Cameron St. James regrets having snubbed her nose at Elijah Ross in a foolish attempt to impress her "friends" in high school and Elijah knows he could have not pushed back so hard and taunted her when it all started. But that is water under the bridge now and the weeks in isolation together bond these two in a way nothing else ever could. Everything has changed, and I applaud Kennedy Fox and their creative partnership for giving us this wonderful and timely story. Cami and Eli both did the right thing by leaving the city to social distance in the country. They had different reasons for their journey, but it was the prudent thing to do. Their childhood friendship was important to them, but time and distance had kept them apart. Forced to live together during this difficult time brought back memories, both happy and sad, but also allowed them to make new ones and to comfort each other when the isolation became unbearable. Cami needed Eli to help her relax and chase away the uneasiness and he knew just what to do to comfort her. He was her port in the storm and she was thankful that he had come back into her life. Their love had always been there but it just took the long way to bring them back together. Cami and Eli are a fun loving and positive couple who embraced their situation with bravery, courage and laughter. Cami could be herself with Eli and he finally had the chance to show her how he had always felt about her. Review: Love In Isolation: The Two Of Us

The Two of Us by Kennedy Fox is the first book in their brand new series, Love In Isolation series. A series that was unplanned but sprung from the recent events in the world and the authors need to to process these events creatively. This story of two people who were once friends, pushed apart by the expectations of society and being young and not knowing any better, finally, they are in the same place at the same time with enough time to work through their issues and get to the heart of their feelings. Cameron St. James regrets having snubbed her nose at Elijah Ross in a foolish attempt to impress her "friends" in high school and Elijah knows he could have not pushed back so hard and taunted her when it all started. But that is water under the bridge now and the weeks in isolation together bond these two in a way nothing else ever could. Well-written and well-paced, this story was full of ups and downs and surprises galore. No holds barred. Enjoy!

Enemies to lovers, bro’s best friend ! Loved it!

Oh the cuteness. Don’t get me wrong, it’s raw and real. But the relationship from Cam to Eli is just adorable. Very well written, felt real. The fear. The unknown. The virus. It’s set I’m extremely current day New York. Like. Jan 2020. At ground zero of the virus! I really felt their fear. Sympathized with the anxiety. The unknown. And through it all it’s a enemies to lovers, childhood friend story that’s just perfect! Highly recommend this awesome stand alone!

Powerful, passionate and thoughtful!!

Social distancing. Stay home/stay safe. These are new words in our vocabulary which has made us all live, think and work differently. Everything has changed, and I applaud Kennedy Fox and their creative partnership for giving us this wonderful and timely story. Cami and Eli both did the right thing by leaving the city to social distance in the country. They had different reasons for their journey, but it was the prudent thing to do. Their childhood friendship was important to them, but time and distance had kept them apart. Forced to live together during this difficult time brought back memories, both happy and sad, but also allowed them to make new ones and to comfort each other when the isolation became unbearable. Cami needed Eli to help her relax and chase away the uneasiness and he knew just what to do to comfort her. He was her port in the storm and she was thankful that he had come back into her life. Their love had always been there but it just took the long way to bring them back together. Cami and Eli are a fun loving and positive couple who embraced their situation with bravery, courage and laughter. Cami could be herself with Eli and he finally had the chance to show her how he had always felt about her. Despite the fact that they were brought together by horrible circumstances, we can rejoice in their love and be hopeful for their future.
